As a realist painter I must confess that I am quite happy with the recent revival of figurative art. All over the world the attention for figurative movements is growing nowadays. People finally seem to got bored watching senseless lines, colors and blots of paint smeared on canvas. No painter who takes himself seriously can go on fooling the audience.
